SvectorDB Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. User Registration and Account

2.1 To use SvectorDB, you must be at least 18 years old.

2.2 During the registration process, you will provide your email address and name. This information is used for communication purposes and is stored securely.

2.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Payments and Refunds

3.1 Users are required to add funds to their accounts for utilising SvectorDB services.

3.2 Deposited amounts are non-refundable.

4. Data Handling and Privacy

4.1 We collect and store your email address and name during the sign-up process.

4.2 Payment transactions are handled through a third-party payment processor, and we do not store any payment-related information.

4.3 We store the contents of your database securely and take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, we make no guarantees regarding data availability, integrity, or preservation. Use of SvectorDB should be considered as a secondary index with the understanding that data may be lost or become unavailable at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Users must not abuse the service or engage in activities that may cause harm to SvectorDB or its users.

6. Liability Limitations

6.1 SvectorDB is provided "as is" without any guarantees regarding data availability, integrity, or preservation.

6.2 To the extent permitted by law, we limit our liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages to the lesser of either:

  • the amount paid by the user in the last three months, or
  • a cap of $500.

7. Severability

7.1 If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be resolved through arbitration. SvectorDB reserves the right to select the arbitrator.

8.2 The seat of arbitration shall be in Sydney, Australia.

8.3 The language of the arbitration shall be English.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
